I first wrote this tune as a setting for “Mi Chamocha,” with versions for both the evening and morning services. Then I set English words to it (not a translation, but with a shared theme of rising about dire situations with hope). Social Band has used it as a sing-along.
The tune for the verses is singable as a four-part round, as you’ll hear in the recording. This is from a Social Band concert at the Charlotte (Vermont) Congregational Church on April 12, 2026.
